The last 5 years have been fun, but my time in Japan is coming to a close...

You read that right. I turned down my renewal offer, and instead of look for more in Japan, I am deciding to move to Lyon, France, to teach, and do typical cool Tommy things while learning a new language and culture, again!

I will explain my reasons once I leave Japan, but I will try to keep this updated with my remaining 5 months or so here.

Thanks to the 6 people who read this and giving me a reason to keep my first ever blog!

They came from Nagoya and tore the place down! I haven't seen them in 2 years, and that time was them recording in the studio!

So here I am, a couple hours before I head to the airport, where I will wait for my girlfriend a bit before we head to California for a short trip (aren't they always too short...)

My room is a mess now since my apartment is too small for all of my clothes, I keep all the extras in my suitcase, which I am using... Pictures once I get back.

I packed in a record 15 minutes, and I am now sitting around doing nothing but watching time tick by. Think I will go look for something to eat before I head out!

I figured this was pretty dead, but just remembered it thanks to a friend starting a blog.

If people still read, I can start actively blogging again.
Life has been busy though.

Bought a new DSLR camera that takes HD video and loving it.
Purchased all of my DJ equipment. My apartment is better equipped than most major clubs in the world.
Due to this, my neighbor has made noise complaints at VERY early times with RUDE letters (in Japanese). Because of this, my manager got me a new apartment and I will move at the end of September!
I will DJ 2 events in one night in Nagoya on October 30th with Shane, my music brother and DJ partner!

This is pretty much it in a nutshell, but if there are more than 5 unique people requesting I update this by the end of this week, I will continue to do so.

It's been a while...

Sorry for the lack of updates! I have been busy!

Since the beginning of the year, I have been saving for DJ equipment, and I am now 2/3 done with my CDJ set up. (I got a DJM700 mixer, and a new CDJ900. Saving for a CDJ2000 now).

I went to Nagoya, my old home last weekend, to play football and BBQ, but I missed the football game because I went to the conbini with 2 friends! That was a quick game!

Coming up, this weekend, a friend I met on Outpost 9 is coming up to Tokyo to meet up (for the first time) and we will go eat shabu shabu with one of his friends. Should be a good time!

I will try to update with a video blog or something as soon as possible!
